The "Then&Now" project started in Colchester (Essex), in 2016. It is a photography idea, which merges the past and present, by mixing the old and new together using a fusion of an old photograph of a well known location, taken decades ago, and a second photography taken by myself, at the same spot and from the exact same angle. For Colchester, a series of 30 designs was created using local archives. The work was then exhibited, before being used for the promotion of the town, in a new and clever way, which helped saved thousands of pounds in advertising.
